Engineering Technician
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist maintenance technicians in trouble shooting industrial control systems.
Work with engineering to implement automated solutions to production issues.
Train machine operators and maintenance technicians on automated control systems.
Coordinate with outside vendors and internal purchasing to order and maintain spare parts for equipment and facilities.
Support off shift maintenance needs.
Work closely with controls engineer to develop training programs for maintenance technicians.
Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment.
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have Rockwell PLC knowledge: SLC and ControlLogix preferred
Cognex and Microscan vision systems
FANUC robot programming experience
PanelView programming experience
FANUC CNC troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret electrical and fluid power schematics
Strong communication and computer skills
Industrial networking systems (DH+ and Ethernet) a plus
Yamaha robot experience a plus
3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as a technical specialist.
High School Diploma or HSE is required.
Bachelor degree preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
